Raising funds for care and support programs at the RCH
THE STORY SO FAR
ChIP In Auxiliary was founded in 2002 to help fund and support the Chronic Illness Peer Support Program. This program is designed for people between the ages of twelve and twenty-five, who live with some form of the chronic illness. The program was created to create a network of support amongst young people and offers mentoring, leadership training, social activities and professional opportunities.
WHAT WE ARE WORKING ON
ChIp In Auxiliary funds an annual three-day activities camp for ChIPS members; these funds also cover a team of health professionals who make it possible for these young people to attend the event. ChIP In Auxiliary funds these events every year through its fundraising efforts, including stalls and charity functions.
